Can CBD Oil Reduce Pain?

Cannabidiol or CBD is the scientific term given to six natural phytochemicals found in the marijuana plant, which include three primary phytochemicals, namely: delta-9-tetrahydroccanone (THC), cannabidiol, and cannabidiolic acid (CBD). Cannabidiol is a powerful phytocannabinoid found in 1940. It is one of the predicted therapeutic agents for a variety of chronic diseases, including cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, AIDS, multiple sclerosis, seizures, anxiety, Parkinson’s disease, psoriasis, anorexia, and tooth decay.

In recent years, there has been a significant amount of research conducted on the health benefits of CBD oil and other extracts obtained from marijuana and other cannabis containing similar chemical compounds. The health benefits of CBD may be limited to those in the central nervous system. However, many of the chronic pain conditions associated with symptoms of several neuropsychiatric illnesses such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, chronic headaches, and phantom limb pain are also reported to be relieved by the use of CBD extracts. Additionally, it has been reported that CBD can reduce the symptoms of nausea and vomiting in patients undergoing chemotherapy; may help to protect the liver from alcohol toxicity; and has positive anti-inflammatory properties.

One of the most important areas of research involving CBD is its potential use in the treatment of anxiety disorders. Although CBD is not considered a “cure” for anxiety disorders, there are many patients who have benefited from the use of CBD in conjunction with traditional medicinal therapies and/or psychological counseling. Clinical trials are currently underway in several different locations, using CBD as the basis for investigating the usefulness of this natural compound in the management of a wide range of anxiety disorders. Currently, there is no evidence that supports the use of CBD for anxiety disorders. There are, however, a number of case reports and case studies that have reported positive results when CBD has been used in combination with traditional medicinal therapies and/or psychological counseling.

In addition to providing relief of symptoms associated with chronic pain, CBD can also be used to manage the symptoms of certain other medical conditions. Two of these conditions are AIDS and cancer. Both HIV and AIDS patients have been reported to report improvements in their symptoms following the use of CBD. In addition, patients diagnosed with cancer and undergoing radiation therapy or chemotherapy have found success in using CBD to treat or ease the side effects of these treatments. It is not currently known whether CBD is effective in the treatment of cancer or any other disease or condition. You can get more information about cbd for dogs.

In animals, CBD has been shown to successfully reverse the loss of certain brain cells that are responsible for the loss of motor skills in animals. These studies are preliminary and more work needs to be done in order to definitively show the benefits of CBD on neurological disease. However, the data so far indicates that CBD may help reduce symptoms associated with glaucoma and may possibly even reverse it. Glaucoma is a disease afflicting the optic nerve, which causes damage to the optic nerve and ultimately leads to blindness. More research is necessary to confirm these results.

In test-tube studies, CBD was found to be effective in reducing the inflammation of arthritis. Animal studies have provided encouraging results when it comes to treating diseases and conditions which can be controlled by using CBD. The conclusion of these tests indicate that further studies must be conducted in order to determine whether or not the CBD can be helpful in treating or reducing the effects of inflammation. If you or someone you know is battling with some type of disease or condition, you should consider trying a simple natural alternative to pharmaceutical medications. Consider trying CBD oil or CBD cream as an alternative to pain killers and inflammation control.
